You need to decide where you want the picture...............have someone hold it for you........step back, see if you like it there. They have special nail in hooks that you use a hammer and watch your fingers and hit it into a beam. You can tell wherethe beam is....bang on the wall if it sounds hollow....keep going.....when it sounds different it is a beam or you could use a beam finder.
