I take the whole top apart and soak it in very hot water with lestoil............then I get the crumbs off the top and use lestoil and a scruffy or sponge with a scrubber bottom...........then rinse with water and use window cleaner to make it shine. When the water in the sink cools off, I then scrub everything with the scrubby and rinse and let them dry totally before putting them bac together.
